It has been a chore trying to log onto Blogger. I finally resolved the issue today. Phew! So as you all can see I decided that my blog needed a new look. Though I very much loved my previous one there was a
The Tamil New Year has come and gone. It was exciting. As usual the Karpayah Family met in the Temple in our finest clothes for our yearly prayers. It's a must and if you feel the BOND you will NEVER miss it for ANYTHING!
It was so nice to see my bro and Ravin begin part of the group carrying the Lord around the Temple. My lil cousins were there and it was MAHES' Bday as well. She was looking pretty in her traditional clothes. :)
After all the hulla ballo the family slowly dispersed. Now the next family event will probably be Durga's 21st Party!
Sunday was to be spent with D (duh!) after not spending anytime with him at all during the week. So started off with my tuition in the morning which I was late for (ok so what else is new?). I met up with D after that and he started pestering me to call Sangeetha! She had bought a new puppy and he so badly wanted to see it. So we met the couple at SunPlaza, had lunch and walked back to their new flat.
The puppy is so freaking CUTE! Ahhhh!! It is tiny and so active. In 30mins I found out that Yogi (the puppy) likes to be pampered, likes to chew on denim, likes to bite almost anything and simply loves to be cuddled. I cannot wait to see him again! (Since she lives 5 mins away from me it is even more tempting!)
We were just slacking when VD called, gave them directions and they joined the group. Durga loves dogs so it was no surprise that she 'pounced' on it the mmt she got there.
We waited for Sangeetha's in-laws to leave before we bathed Yogi, made him comfortable and left to have a late lunch and early dinner. On the way back we decided to watch a movie and settled on watching Mr Bean's Holiday. VD could not join us. So it was jus the 4.
The movie was ok. Lame and funny. Walking back with Sangee and Suri we had so much to talk. Suri and D were going on about army stuff, I think. Sangee and I paired up and talked about family and settling down stuff. We talked and talked and talked. Wow. Haha finally realised it was late, and headed back home.
I seem to have lost the will to fight, party and even do anything remotely fun. It will be horrifying to know that I might be turning into a boring person!
Truth is I am so worn out physically and mentally. There are classes, work (which is killing me), tuitions, SC and D!
It has been months since we went out on a proper date!
It has been months since I freaked out with my ladies.
It has been months since I bothered dressing up for something with the whole works, make up etc.
I AM turning into a dull person!
SOS!!
It has been decades since I shopped! Every time I open my ‘wardrobe’ I see the same stuff that I have been seeing for months now. So I get sick and just too tired to choose anything. In the end I lean back on my trusted jeans and t-short combi. EESH!
It’s time I put up a to-do and a to-buy list I think… let me go get started on it right away.
Adios!
