Well.. There has been a lot of things on my mind. It's just that some things are not meant to be said. (:
I have been shopping! Though I told myself that I wouldn't this month. I couldn't help it. I can reassure myself by saying that all the stuff I got were good deals! Heh heh. They really were! Finally got the suspenders I wanted!
Classes have started! I am doing my electives now so all my psych friends are like not with me. Eesh. Boring! I was a bit apprehensive about my new business modules. Since, it is a totally different area from Psych. Then the other day I was talkin to my friend and she managed to put me at ease. Being in the business industry she knew what it was all about and apparently if you can handle psych, business is a breeze!*fingers crossed*
It's just that distance learning is not easy. Information has to be forced out from people and you have to be in the loop. Once you are out of the circle you might just lose critical information about exams and assignments. The lecturers are not the sort who really care as it's just their part-time job. So, you have to be really in touch with your classmates and the lecturer overseas.
I had that well-controlled in my psych modules and now this deep into my studies I have to go back to square one and re-establish a good foundation so that I can be assured of credits and merits (or at the very least passes). I am not very happy about it being that introvert I am. Of course, I got no choice. 6 electives to being a u-graduate! I got to slog!
I got to go for my tuition now. I predict that Elaine is going to give me stress by answering my questions with shrugs and I DON'T KNOW! (:
I remind myself: Teaching can be a pain at times and to be a teacher it can get really hard. However there's relief when the child can understand what you trying to put across, there's a sense of accomplishment when the child achieves academically and then there's pure joy when the child looks up to you with innocent, clear eyes and says in faltering English, "Ms. Rajes, I like you. You so funny and pretty. See you next week!" and then runs off leaving me standing there with a huge smile on my face and in my heart.
Before I go, some pics! My brother is in NS now and I have been missing him like crazy! Everytime he calls I get excited! These are pictures we took when he came back after his first 2 weeks. Nerdy glasses and 'botak' haircut!
